Economic Empowerment

According to the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, 47.13 percent of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will only be able to survive until August 2020, while 72.02 percent of enterprises will close after November 2020. This was caused by the economy faltering as a result of the pandemic's impacts.

As a result, there are a lot of stories about people who have to rely on moneylenders to keep their small businesses running. They are obliged to take out usury loans since their small business is on the verge of shutting due to a lack of capital.

With Global Wakaf, a professional waqf property manager who has been established since 2013. Aksi Cepat Tanggap Foundation has developed a program to address this issue and lower poverty rates among the people by empowering micro-enterprises from upstream to downstream. Waqf based capital assistance initiative aims to broaden the benefits of waqf by collaborating with farmers and small entrepreneurs, keeping them out of loan sharks.

MSMEs will be able to obtain business financing without paying interest through the Micro Business Capital Waqf. They will also get frequent help to make sure the money they get from cash waqf is put to the best possible use to support their business. As a result, both those who benefited the wakif, obtained blessings. Furthermore, it will take us to the status of a self-sufficient society capable of constructing a life free of poverty.

Let’s empower the communities to aim for economic independence.
