ACT has made important contributions in humanitarian issues that happened in overseas countries.
Living in prolonged blockade and oppression, millions of Palestinian struggle to meet their daily needs. Decades ACT has been assisting people in Palestine with food provision, clothing distribution, health care, housing provision, infrastructure and public facility construction, as well as educational assistance.
Difficulties are also experienced by people in Syria, internal conflict forces millions of Syrian to seek refuge in other countries while others live in deprivation, becoming Internal Displaced People (IDP) in their own home country.
Living without acknowledgement in their homeland, the Rohingya become one of the most persecuted minorities in the World. We provide decent temporary shelters, food aid, educational assistance, health care in Myanmar, also refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, and Aceh, Indonesia.
Yemes has been declared as the poorest country in the world with 80% of the population depending on humanitarian aid. Basic needs such as food and clothing are provided, followed by continuous health and medical service.
Poverty and drought are main problems in Africa that cause humanitarian issues in aspects of life of Africans. Responding to the problems, ACT supports food aid, health care, and educational assistance for thousands of people in Africa.
